The Thought Behind The Wellbeing Boxes.
In today’s fast-paced world, where we don't allow ourself time to stop and burnout is all too common We forget that self-care has become a vital part of what we need to live a balanced and fulfilling life. At The Epiphany Closet, my mission has always been to combine your health and wellbeing along side sustainable fashion and that’s why I created the Wellbeing Boxes. These curated collections are designed to nurture your mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing while embracing my commitment to sustainability and self-care.
What Is Wellbeing, & Why Is It Important?
Wellbeing encompasses the overall state of our health—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too. It’s about feeling balanced, fulfilled, and equipped to handle life’s challenges. However, in our busy lives, prioritising self-care often takes a backseat. Would you agree?
Neglecting wellbeing can lead to stress, anxiety, and even physical health issues. That’s why it’s essential to make time for yourself and invest in small habits that promote self-care—whether it’s enjoying a mindful moment with a cup of tea, journaling your thoughts, or using aromatherapy oils in baths, roll-ons, wax melts and candles.
The Epiphany Closet will always bring organic, meaningful products from our accessory collection, the Sports Club and new designed t-shirts that are limited additions to the boxes.
An easy way to remind yourself you are entitled to take time out to "RELAX". The bags for life and any occasion, are hear to serve a purpose or many ways.
7 day affirmation card practice. A crucial part of my week. We don't always wake up with the mindset we would hope for. That doesn't mean you can't spin them thoughts around. I have received some wonderful feedback from customers saying "thanks to Vanessa's affirmation cards, I have now been able to teach myself how to revaluate my day and turn it in to a positive, just from reading words on a card. I am so grateful for finding The Epiphany Closet".
The Vision Behind the Wellbeing Boxes
When I first envisaged The Epiphany Closet, it wasn’t just about creating a clothing brand. It was about creating a movement—a way for people to connect with themselves and others through thoughtful, sustainable choices. Since building such a warming community and listening to what you have all been asking for, The Wellbeing Boxes are an extension of this vision.
Each box is carefully curated to include:
-
Comfortable, Sustainable Clothing: Made from eco-friendly fabrics that feel good on your skin and align with our values of ethical fashion. Offering you an opportunity to wear clothes with meaningful and mindful wording.
-
Mindful Self-Care Essentials: Items like journals, recipes aromatherapy products, herbal teas, and skincare products to inspire relaxation and reflection.
-
Inspirational Touches: Motivational quotes and affirmations to uplift your spirit and encourage positive thinking.
These boxes are more than just a product; they’re an experience—a reminder to pause, breathe, and take care of yourself.
Why Self-Care Matters in Business and Everyday Life
Running a business like The Epiphany Closet has taught me that self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a parent, or someone navigating a busy life, taking time for self-care helps you recharge and show up as your best self.
Incorporating self-care into your routine can:
-
Improve focus and productivity
-
Enhance mental clarity and decision-making
-
Reduce stress and prevent burnout
Leaving my job in 2023 was down to burnout and fighting a lifestyle that wasn't working with me as a single parent. So I could start looking after my wellbeing, have a more balanced work life, I created clothing to express the high's and the lows. Now it's time to introduce an extension of what wellbeing and wellness can offer. The Wellbeing Boxes bridge the gap between sustainability and self-care, offering a tangible way to align with all of my values and principles.
How You Can Cultivate Wellbeing
Looking after yourself doesn’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. Here are some simple ways to start:
-
Practice Gratitude: Write down three things you’re grateful for every day.
-
Create a Relaxation Ritual: Light a candle or wax melt, brew some tea, and enjoy a few quiet moments.
-
Dress Comfortably and Mindfully: Choose clothing that feels good and supports sustainable practices.
-
Connect with Nature: Spend time outdoors to recharge and gain perspective.
-
Incorporate Affirmations: Remind yourself daily of your worth and capabilities.
My Wellbeing Boxes are a great way to integrate these practices into your life seamlessly.
Here is a little introduction to some of the small businesses that are collaborating on the Epiphany Essence Box. This is the first box launching in February. You can pre-order this on 28th January
Candice is the founder of Mother Cuppa. We connected almost a year ago through Instagram and although we still haven't met in person, the support we offer each other on a weekly basis is testament to how we align and have come together to collaborate. Her herbal tea business is hitting amazing milestones and has recently been featured on GB News, which has seen her business blow up. (Couldn't be more proud).
Mother Cuppa aims to conveniently add to your daily routine a way to optimise your health and wellbeing. Only using the very best quality ingredients, sourced from the most ethical farms around the world.
A range of wellness herbal teas collection for women. At Mother Cuppa Tea, they offer a diverse selection of the best herbal teas all over the United Kingdom. Each blend is carefully curated for quality and flavour, ensuring a delightful and soothing tea experience.
Each box launched every other month will be nurtured by this wonderful company. You won't go back to normal tea after drinking from Mother Cuppa's Cup.
Louisa B Apothecary is a wonderful lady who is coming on board, with amazing products, specifically created to assist on your wellbeing. Running a successful business herself and stocking her wonderful aromatherapy products in many shops, her story was my inspiration to welcome her on board at The Epiphany Closet.
In 2013, Louise trained as an aromatherapist and began creating therapeutic aromatherapy blends to support her holistic therapy clients. From there, Louisa B Apothecary went from strength to strength.
I only work with like minded women, who are on their own wellbeing journey and know their products are as authentic as them.
Louisa's calming pillow spray made with essential oils of roman chamomile, lavender, marjoram, sandalwood amyris, and ylang ylang. Her aura cleansing bath salts ensure I end my day releasing negativity and restoring balance. For me it is the only way to find calm and peace.
An inspiring woman raising a young family, finding time to create natural candles and wax melts. Having represented her brand at various artisan markets across London, her products are a true representation of how Aimee is making an impact on sustainability and clean, non toxic products.
I am truly honoured to have Aimee on board the Wellbeing Boxes and enjoy my evenings spent with the Hasta Manana wax melts. Another reason to invest in pure self-care indulgence with these ingredients below:
Bergamot, clary sage, lavender and tea tree. Purifying, cleansing and uplifting. Promotes mental clarity, emotional wellbeing, and a rejuvenating atmosphere.
